Martin C. Laymon (Tom Hiddlesworth) - he is a professional terapist from New Orleans and he loves what he does. Especially at night, because he helps criminals. He is dating Spencer Strook.
Spencer Strook (Emilie de Ravin) - she is a nurse at the New Orleans hospital. she works with Martin and she's also his girlfriend. They don't live together, so she doesn't know about his "night job".
Ryan Springfield (Rupert Friend) - he is Martin's best friend and boss. He is a doctor. He is in love with Jamie but she doesn't care about him.
Jamie Oakland (Alexis Bledel) - she is a teacher at an elementary school. She met Ryan at a party in the pilot.
