Pilot Synopsis: XFF announces a retelling of Lewis Carroll's 'The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland' & 'Through the Looking' Glass which will star Elle Fanning as 'Alice'. Set in the early 1960's, Alice is a young 15 year old girl who all of her life has constantly seen a white walking rabbit. After telling her parents of the creatures’ appearance as a younger girl, her parents send her to a psychiatrist for an opinion for which she was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Ever since, she and everyone else thought she was absolutely daft. But one day, after her sister, Edith arrives after a semester at Mount Saint Vincent University, she explains that she could see the world one day, and she's not as crazy as she and everyone may think. Suddenly Alice sees her white companion again, and staying true to the original tale, follows it to its home, a rabbit hole, naturally. She falls inside and what she stumbles upon is abnormal.
The Pilot, and following episodes will be split into 5 parts each, acting in a miniseries type format.
