Logline: Secrets Have To Go Somewhere
Showrunners: Drew Goodard & Matthew Weiner
Ex-Producers: JJ Abrams, Joss Whedon, Mark Burnett

TV RATING: TV-14
Plot: It's the 1950s... The nation has just gotten quiet and happy but under that there are secrets brewing without the people's knowledge... Things like Aliens, disease, or disappearances happen with no answers to follow. A secret team called The Bureau, deals with these situations when no one else can. Robert "Robbie" Glass (Dylan McDermott) and his partner, Emma "Blue" Jasmine, go out to solve the case and bring order in secret. Yet they may not be working for the good guys as Director Lenny "Guns" Sanders (Bryan Cranston) and his son, second in command, Kevin "The Army" Sanders, may have secrets of their own as Robbie and Emma go deeper into what the Bureau really stands for and who can be trusted.
I think having the Creator of Mad Men would put the show in the right era with the clothes, lifestyle, and langue of the 50s and Drew Goodard, Creator of Cabin In The Woods & a Writer of Lost, would factor in alot of the Sci-Fi elements as JJ Abrams and Joss Whedon as Ex-Producers would multiple that as they are the Kings of Fantasy and Sci-Fi in the past and build for the fanboys and Mark Burnett would take this show into Emmy territory. As this is X-Files/Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. mix as they go on cases of supernatural or just weird like X-Files and head for adventures like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or that Marvel Short with Jasper Sitwell does. If ordered, the first episode would have Drew Barrymore guest starring as a woman related to mysterious pyro accidents. Other stars of Sci-Fi like Leonard Nemory, Sigourney Weaver, or the two heads of X-Files and maybe Clark Gregg guest star to as people involved with their cases or involved with the secrets of the Bureau. Some Action scenes, a 4 or 5 star CGI, filmed in Toronto or a less expensive place, and written sometimes by Joss Whedon, JJ Abrams, Drew Goodard, Jed Whedon or other writers of Lost.TV rating of TV-14 with only Sci-Fi violence and few swearing in dialogue.

It's the 1950s... The nation has just gotten quiet and happy but under that there are secrets brewing without the people's knowledge... Things like Aliens, disease, or disappearances happen with no answers to follow. A secret team called The Bureau, deals with these situations when no one else can. Robert "Robbie" Glass (Dylan McDermott) and his partner, Emma "Blue" Jasmine (Alice Eve), go out to solve the case and bring order in secret. Yet they may not be working for the good guys as Director Lenny "Guns" Sanders (Bryan Cranston) and his son, second in command, Kevin "The Army" Sanders (Scott Caan), may have secrets of their own as Robbie and Emma go deeper into what the Bureau really stands for and who can be trusted.
The First Episode starts with a woman at the food court as she talks to someone on the phone but what she doesn't notice is another person standing away from a far as she looks to be on the phone too. She walks up to the girl at the table and suddenly the girl from the food court is on fire and the crowd panics and some try to put her out but water doesn't work and the fire burns through it. But what anyone doesn't notice is the woman who was away is gone and so is food court girl's phone.
Robbie goes for a run as he gets a call and it tells him to head into the office. Robbie gets dressed and heads over to a record store and tells the clerk, that his piano has broken a string and that's the code word that gets him to a practice room which hidden in one of the walls is a eye scanner and a hand printer reader and slides down underground where The Bureau is found with a full working office. Director Lenny gets to Robbie first and tells him to his office. Lenny with his son, Kevin, in the room tells Robbie his new partner is coming in today as he has to take her to the new case. Robbie isn't happy till he sees Emma walk in and she impresses him with her handling of the rules and her resume.
They talk about each other trying to get to know who the other is. Robbie is very closed while Emma tells him about her upbringing and asks Robbie for his and he quickly turns it away. Emma asks Robbie how he can do the job and he says "With a flask of Bourbon and my lack of questions". Robbie and Emma set out on the case of the food court girl as this wasn't the only mysterious fire that has happened. Five other fires have happened with reports of the people suddenly set on fire with no chemicals or anything that could start with or anyone who started it. Emma notices that the phone is missing of the victims possession. Robbie calls Ted (Adam Ferrara) & Fred (T.J. Thyne), the lab geeks, for IDing the body. They find the girl has a mother who lives in town. Robbie and Emma go to the mother's house and the mother, Rachel Grams, welcomes them and says she and her husband have always been good to their daughter and can't see anyone who would hurt her. Emma asks how life is at home, and Rachel says that she and her husband are going through a rough patch and are going to couple's therapy.
Robbie and Emma head back to The Bureau and try to make sense of the fire. Fred says they tried to look at anyone leaving the mall before the event caused panic. Emma asks how are they able to even watch this as Ted tells her that the Government put cameras everywhere for the fear of the growing USSR. So they get clearance to it. They review cameras in the mall and see someone was coming towards her but then the video gets static and disrupted. Agent Payton "Glasses" Rose (Jordana Brewster) walks in and helps them through the static as Ted & Fred looks dumbstruck for they couldn't get through it ass they sees someone was walking to the victim and they sees them both talk like they know each other and then the hooded figure reaches out to touch the victim and next frame the girl is on fire and starts running around as the hooded figure watches. Then next frame, the hooded figure is gone and there's a crowd around the food court girl. Ted looks shocked as Fred asks what the hell just happened. Robbie grows serious as Emma asks him what he's thinking. Robbie replies, "I think our victim got a first hand experience with their fire starter.
Robbie goes to investigate as Emma tells him it's impossible for one person to set another person on fire as it defies all logic and science. Robbie now asks her does she really know what she was told about The Bureau. She says briefly 'it's a place where the unexplained can't be solved and closed.' They go to a secure area where Robbie gives her a whole history of the Bureau. On 1947, Roswell UFO incident happened. an airborne object crashed on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico. Explanations of what took place are based on both official and unofficial communications. The world began to panic as life on other planets was prove to be an actual fact. But the US government thought the people were not ready to know the truth and hide the aircraft and assigned only a few of the best from the FBI, CIA, & other agencies to gather and try to solve explainable events like this one. Where secrets is the number one rule in the Bureau. Robbie's dad used to work with Lenny till one day, Robbie's dad went missing and no traces were ever found as if he didn't even exist and he is just an figure of Robbie's imagination. Lenny pulled a few strings and particularly raised Robbie like his own. Robbie grew up learning about all the secrets this country hides and wants to stay hidden. Emma asks what Robbie's dad was like but gets interrupted by Fred.
Fred tell them that in order to start any fire they needed air and some combustible chemical inside the figure in order to set a fire in the first place and be able to keep a high body temperature inside. So they said that in order to find the real firestarter they have to use an invention that Ted & Fred made for their watches as it would detect a high temperature rates like a radioactivity detector. They decide to see the husband, John, as they go question him and says every was fine till one day Rachel starts acting crazy and tell them her episodes and how she was raped in College and the nightmares started coming back. Emma asked if he knew the guys, and John said long ago Rachel had a private P.I. find them and gave her the list of names. John saw them and Rachel never talked about since then. Just spend time to herself and away from their daughter, Abigail. They take DNA from John and tell them to see if any of it was matched to the scene and heads out to see the last name on the list of the files Rachel got. But Emma stops Robbie as she says the other four were names of the firestarters victims. They went to the last victim's house but when they break in they find the victim running toward them then gets set on fire and they escape as the house burns down with him. Emma and Robbie try to link Rachel to the firestarter cases as they go to get Rachel but Rachel is gone and has her husband's hotel room on the telephone and race to stop her as they hear back from Payton that the DNA didn't match Rachel or John but it was similar in someway.
John calls a taxi service telling them to be at his hotel no later than 5 minutes as he looks like he is packing. But when he opens to the door thinking its the taxi, he sees Rachel in the same hood as the person from the video. Robbie and Emma get there as they see Rachel there with John tied up. Robbie tells her not to do this as they know about Rachel's powers as Rachel tell them she had to do it. But Emma tells Rachel they know her daughter killed those men who raped her. Rachel is shocked and cries as she told them John told their daughter to do it. He told her it was ok to kill them. And when Rachel came up to her to try and help her, she only got cold and dark almost not human. So Rachel had to kill her that day at the mall. There was no other choice and John set that man on fire at his house to try and bury the problem forever and get justice. When Emma talks to her telling her she knows how she feels as Rachel says its too late and sets John on fire but not before Robbie shoots Rachel and then the hotel room sets on fire and they rescue John and convict him. Robbie asks Emma is everything she said to Rachel true and Emma smiles and says "Everyone intersting reveals itself in due time, Robert."
Robbie is at home and Lenny calls him to ask how Emma did, and Robbie finally compliments her and says "it'll fit" and hangs up. Lenny hangs up the phone and his son Kevin and Kevin's partner Kendall "Rabbit" Donalds are in the room. Kevin asks Lenny is everything going to plan. Lenny confirms and smiles a big evil smile and takes a drink of whisky.
